Insane Fact Gen Zers Are Hiding!

Gen Z window shopping

You have to be one of us to really understand how much we use what is at our fingertips.

The thing is, we are not “window shoppers & browsers”, (my mom uses those terms).

At least Not YOUR definition of “window shopping & browsing.”

We prob window shop & browse 100 to thousands of times more than other generations did before us.

But, we do it with our eyes & a finger… from anywhere.

We swipe & scroll to “browse & Window-Shop”.

We do our browsing/window shopping online at home, from work, in the car or bedroom, at school or in the shower.

We find things we like online, through Social media, a friend, video or an ad.

We don’t physically go out looking for things & stumble on them.

“Browsing/window-Shopping” has turned into the term “searching”.

When generation Zers walk through the mall on Saturday afternoon, we have a clear cut plan in mind.

We already searched, (browsed/window shopped) for what we want, and are ready to make the purchase.

I am positive we have a pic on our phone of whatever it is we are at the mall/store to buy.

It’s up to you retailers to have the items in stock & not disappoint us.

Those trying to compare generation Z’s shopping patterns to other generations, is not going to work.

Shopping as you knew it, has completely changed.

Don’t make the mistake of thinking you can sit back and wait to see what happens with this generation.

  1. Did you that many websites that have physical stores list many more
products online than they actually have in the store. In fact most smart website stores
do this. They get product feeds from other places so they can sell much more than they can
carry in a brick and mortar store. You can see this easily on Target and Walmart.com.
It will say something like “not in store”. The earn substantial income by doing this as it works.
They are trying to be more like Amazon.
So be careful when you shop on your phone and go to the store. Make sure they carry it!

  2. Wow, I guess if we had the tecknology we
Have today, back when we were kids, we
Would be doing the same thing.
Heck we do it now! Lol

  3. You are so right! Everything I buy, I look up on my phone before going to the store. Sometimes I even buy the item online and pick it up in store, so I dont have to wait in line or wait for it to be shipped.

Crazy how much technology is a part of our lives now
