DJI Phantom 4 Pro Drone
With a 4K camera the DJI Phantom 4 Pro is one of the top of the line drones on the market today.
The drone is 13 inches diagonally and the starting price is around $1,500.
It has a max speed of 45 mph in sport mode, with a flight time of 30 minutes.
The Phantom 4 has 3 flight modes & has an interchangeable battery so if you have 2 you could have 1 hour of flight time.
To fly the drone, it does have to be above 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
Also, drones can fly up to 19685 feet in the air.
“The camera lens is a FOV 84° 8.8 mm/24 mm. It can record 4K:4096×2160 24/25/30p @100Mbps”.
The camera requires a micro SD card to record and take pictures.
To fly it, you put your phone on the controller and open an app called DJI Go which is the wireless monitoring system.
The app lets you see what your drones does and also extra controls like takeoff and return to home. After you set up the app, you use the controller and fly normally.
The drone has a gimbal (pivoted support that allows the rotation of an object) for the camera that is used for getting the smooth steady shots.
The controller has a range of 3 miles and has a built in dive holder the can fit any device up to an iPad pro.
The intelligent flight battery has a capacity of 5870mAh.
Even though it is a little bit pricey, I think it is worth it for the extra $300.
Looks fantastic, can’t believe it has a 3 mile range.
Way to rich for my blood!
I know Sky will try to put this on his birthday list!
I wonder how it is when it crashes as that is almost inevitable.
Hopefully it will holdup.
For that price it should be somewhat breakage resistant.
Hello Jack, Nice post.
I have seen these. They are not really for home use. I have seen many realtors use them to
shoot land or other properties from the air. There are also other uses such as monitoring traffic,
shoot parades and boats from the air and more!
Thank You
