Because they are crazy fun!
I just got mine & had our tech friend Josh come over to put it together and then give me a few hour lesson on how to print & troubleshoot & everything there is to know the proper usage of 3D printing.
Why didn’t I get one sooner?
Actually, my mother is more fascinated with this printer than I am.
She can’t believe how it makes things.
Every household needs a 3-D printer.
You want to get your kids off their gaming devices, this will do the trick!
They are not as expensive as everyone thinks.
Mine was under $400.00 &
Yes, they have ones for thousands of dollars but you don’t need one that expensive. The expensive ones don’t print any faster.
Mine works exactly the same way & it is cheaper than a gaming console.
You know they say Gen Zers love experiences & to “create things” well this is a never ending creative experience.
I’m having the best time ever.
Due to my dyslexia & severe inattentive type ADHD I videoed my entire lessons so I can have my own video to refer back to.
I posted a lot of parts of my lessons in a video tutorial on YouTube so anyone can watch.
My teacher was fantastic & really went over everything with me to make sure I understood how to print when he left.
He explained all the troubleshooting secrets that he has already encountered. He explained every part step by step, even down to using Aqua net hairspray to make the brim adhere to the glass, but making sure I have good ventilation in the room.
This helps so much because he went through all the bad stuff already & learned & now he knows exactly what issues people will run into.
He showed me what site to get 3D designs from http://www.thingiverse.com
I’m so happy we videoed most of what I learned.
It’s really a fantastic tutorial. It’s a bit long of a video but you can fast forward to parts you need to really pay attention to.
I know this video will help a lot of people.
