Gen Zers are NOT the Consumers of Tomorrow!

Articles are saying things like: We are the, “most influential market in the very near future”.

“Gen Zers are the customers of tomorrow!”  Generation Zers are starting to “influence purchasing decisions.”

Who is doing this research?

Why do retailers not realize that WE are the ones who our parents are buying for?

Right Now!

Do you really think my Aunt wants to walk into Best Buy’s & purchase the $400.00 PlayStation VR Headset, let alone 2 of them for my cousins?  No! She doesn’t!  And she would never think of getting them on her own, she wouldn’t even know they exist.  If she does decide to purchase them, it’s only because my cousins have begged her for them!

So I ask you, who are the consumers?

Generation Z are Todays Consumers not tomorrows
We don’t just tell our parents what we want, we send them links where they can buy them.

Why aren’t you considering Gen Zers like my cousins, “influencing purchasing decisions.” ??

We are the influence, even if the purchase is made indirectly!

We are the ones persuading our parents, grandparents etc to buy us things.
The more desirable you make the products look to us, the more we torture our parents to buy them for us.
So all of you writing these articles need to start thinking of how to harness our influence on purchasing power now.

Yes, power!

We don’t just tell our parents what we want, we send them links where they can buy them.
We prob discovered the product while watching a YouTube video or a friend shared something about it in school, or someone else has it or someone we know is getting it & told us about it.

We research the best prices, with free shipping & promo codes for these products in order to convince our parents to get the things for us.

We do all the work, then email or text the link to our parents.

All parents have to do is click the link & enter their credit card.

We even have it waiting in a cart for you.

We make shopping as easy & seamless as possible & deliver it to our parents.

We know how to present & close the deal.

We are pros at it!

Just look around, 4-year-olds have their own tablets.
Especially because their parents are sick of sharing theirs with them.

Forget what articles say about Generation Zers being the consumer of the near future.

We are the audience you are performing for.  Today!

So, You better get to work because it takes a lot to get our attention!
