Google Home vs. Amazon Echo

The Google Home and the Amazon Echo are two awesome pieces of tech.

Home vs Echo

The price for the Google Home is $130 and the Echo is $180.
They will both respond to your voice commands and they are always listening.
The trigger word is ‘OK Google’ or ‘Hey Google’.
You can stream from both on Spotify and Pandora.
Google Home is compatible with Nest, Philips Hue, and Belkin.
Echo is comparable with Nest, Philips Hue, LIFX, and Belkin.
The Google Home has a customizable appearance but the Amazon Echo does not.
Also, you can ask the Google Home for a daily rundown, traffic report, and to check a flight status.
On the Echo, you can add items to your calendar, make a shopping list or track a package.
As well as ordering a pizza for you.
What would you choose?
I would personally choose the Echo but it depends on what you want to do it with it.

  1. Hi jack, Good post.

Both of these devices are taking information to the next level. From what I know they are basically Google, but instead
of typing into a PC or phone you simply ask for what you are looking for. As time goes on they will get better and better.

  2. I have the echo dot, and I find it really
Comes in handy to just ask it to play my favorite radio
Station or spell a word, how’s the weather ,
Who won a certain sports game, and when are they playing again, and my favorite, who your boss
    Alexa:)
