Its GoPro’s big comeback… The Hero 5. GoPro has not come out with a lot of products in the last year or to but about 1 month ago they release a whole new line of products. But in this article, I am going to be going over the GoPro Hero 5.
The new Hero 5 Records at 4k at 30 fps, and has a 12 MP Sensor. There is also Advanced image stabilization action for action sports like bike riding. Also, voice controls were added so you don’t have to press a button. You say GoPro… Then an action like ” Take a Picture” and it will you what you say. It now has a 2-inch touch screen on the back so you don’t have to go to your phone when you want to change the settings. It is also waterproof up to 33 Feet (10 M) without a housing and even more with. There are tons of accessories like tripods, mounts and body straps that go with the GoPro. When your done recording the Hero 5 can work with your phone to save the footage to the cloud and save to location with it. If You buy the GoPro 5 I will work with the new GoPro Karma and Karma Grip.
The GoPro Hero 5 comes in with a price tag of $400 not including GoPro Care and the SD card.
Is it worth it… maybe, if you have an old GoPro and you want a newer model go ahead but if you have the Hero 4, don’t, it is not worth the upgrade. Now I have never had a GoPro but this is just what I think.
In the End, I am very happy that GoPro made some new products but the price is really high and unless you really want a good action camera it is not worth it.
