It is Not because of Alexa, Prime, Kindle, Prime Video, or Amazon Web Services.
It is because Amazon doesn’t EVER dump your shopping cart!!!!!
That is the reason they win!
You can leave your cart abandoned from Christmas until your birthday in February & it still has your stuff in there.
Yes, the prices in your cart may be unavailable or prices may have changed, because they love changing the prices in your shopping cart.
But, they still don’t dump your cart.
Today we have more distractions & things to do then ever before in the history of the world.
Why don’t online retailers understand that we are filling our carts in between time, possible for a later date.
I don’t agree with the “4 Tips For Mobile-Marketing Success in 2017”
Retailers, marketers etc, do not understand that we have multiple screens open at the same time we are shopping.
You must get to understand all our generations behaviors much better.
Remember, we are professional multitaskers.
So I have to ask…
WHY are You dumping our Shopping carts?
Does it matter if we make the purchase now or later?
Maybe we are just having wishful thinking when we were loading our cart.
Maybe we got distracted.
Maybe we were playing a game or texting or 1 million other things.
Maybe we just got to school.
Maybe we are at lunch or piano lessons or have basketball practice.
Maybe we are preparing a persuasive text to send our parents along with the link but need more time.
Maybe it’s bedtime!
Same goes for adults;
Maybe they are at work or have to make dinner or drive or feed the baby or wait to get paid or a million other things they are busy with.
That doesn’t give you the right to dump our carts that we took our precious time to fill.
There are not many things that make me angrier with a site, than dumping my cart.
Is it in your way?
It is bothering you??
You all wonder why Amazon is King.
Because they get it, that’s Why!!
I can tell you this;
if you dump our cart, we are probably Never coming back to waste our time shopping on your site.
You don’t get many chances with us.
So you need to get it right the first time.
